Stephen began fixing small engines at the age of 12. From Go-Karts to lawnmowers nothing was safe from his hands. As he grew it was snowblowers, snowmobiles and lawn tractors. After graduating High School Stephen went to East Coast Aero Tech and became an Aircraft Mechanic. He has worked in Aviation for a large commercial carrier out of Boston for 20 years and counting. Stephen puts the same attention to detail into fixing your small engine equipment as he puts into fixing commercial airliners. It is how he was trained and how he works. In keeping with his childhood passion for working with his hands, Stephen founded Wilson and Son Small Engine Repair in 2011. Those first few years he worked out of the back of his car on his days off from the airport. Since that time, Wilson and Son Small Engine Repair has grown its customer base to over 1,500 clients in the Metrowest area of Boston and continues to grow. And while he still only works on his days off from the airport, now it's in a 25 foot mobile workshop outfitted with all of the equipment he needs to repair your machine and 30 years of experience at his disposal.
Nicholas Wilson - Director of Operations/Mechanic
Nick started working with his brother in the winter of 2018 helping with emails and scheduling as a favor. After spending a year running the operations he started working with Steve on the road and found pretty quickly that he loved the craft and working with his hands again. Prior to working with Wilson & Son Nick was an Executive Chef for some Boston area restaurants for 13 years. He got out of the business in 2018 to raise his 4 daughters (age 12,9,6&6) as a stay at home dad. Nick now works on the road while his girls are at school along with still coordinating operations.
